These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of burla.dev, our documentation, and any hosted services we provide (together, the "Services"), operated by Burla, Inc. ("Burla", "we", "us"). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms.
The open-source software
Burla's core software is open source and distributed through GitHub under the license included in the repository. That license, not these Terms, governs your use of the source code. You are responsible for the infrastructure, cloud accounts, and costs involved in running the software yourself.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Services in violation of any applicable law.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services or related systems.
- Use the Services to infringe the rights of others.
Accounts
If you create an account, you are responsible for the activity that occurs under it and for keeping your credentials secure. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
Intellectual property
The Services, including the burla.dev site design and content, are owned by Burla or its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.
Disclaimer of warranties
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Burla will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of one hundred dollars (USD 100) or the amount you paid us for the Services in the twelve months before the claim.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Burla harmless from any claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Services or your violation of these Terms.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time for any conduct that violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to the Services or other users.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and post the new Terms on this page. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
